Sumitomo Rubber AKO Lastik Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. joint venture was established in 2013, with the aim of becoming the production base for the EMEA region of the Sumitomo Rubber Group. The company, which is one of the factories with the largest tire production capacity in Turkey, is the pioneer and locomotive company of the region where it was established in Central Anatolia.

1909

Japan's first modern tire factory has been established in the city of Kobe.

1913

Production of passenger car tyres started. The first Japanese tyre was produced.

1917

The company was legally incorporated as a Japanese Company.

Manufactured Japan's first tubeless tyre.

Dunlop USA company was acquired.

Our company started its operations in 2015 as the only production point of the Japanese Sumitomo Rubber Group in European Region.

“We will deliver the most advanced safety and convenience to our customers, employees and the community.” On the basis of its mission, we produce and sell high-performance Dunlop and Falken brand automobile tires to Turkey, Europe, Russia and the Middle East regions. First of all, by giving value to our customers and employees; We create an eco- friendly product development and sales system, together with production and sales side that ensure the satisfaction of our customers.

In addition, we want to continue to contribute to Turkey by creating a company that is loved and proud of the society on the principle of joint life with the people of the region and successful personnel development.
