DUNLOP continues to invest in occupational health and safety and professional development. In cooperation with Eldivan Public Education Center, the company organized an Industrial Steam Boiler Operation training program. A total of 25 employees successfully completed the training and received their certificates.
Nur Altay, who works in the Utilities section of the Engineering Department, successfully completed this challenging training among 24 male colleagues. Her achievement is an important example of women taking active roles in technical and industrial areas.
Steam boilers are essential for the tire curing process, one of the most important stages of tire production. Operating these systems requires technical knowledge, safety awareness, and the ability to respond to emergencies. Nur Altay’s success in obtaining this qualification shows that women can successfully take on important technical responsibilities in industry.
Mustafa ARTIK, Deputy General Manager of Engineering, highlighted the importance of occupational safety and women’s participation in technical roles:
“The safe and efficient operation of our steam boilers is one of our most important priorities. The certificates received by our employees, approved by Eldivan Public Education Center, show our commitment to occupational safety. However, what makes us especially proud is Nur Altay’s courage and success in this field. As a company, we will continue to build a working culture based on talent and effort, regardless of gender, and support women’s participation in industry.”
DUNLOP will continue to support the professional and technical development of its employees, maintain high occupational health and safety standards, and encourage projects that highlight the contribution of women in the industrial sector.
